Ticks
Deer Tick Dog Tick Lonestar Tick
Ticks are the single most virulent vector-borne illness source in Europe. In the United States of America the tick is second to mosquitoes.
There are several stages of the Tick life cycle
The most threatening stage to humans is the female nymph. Nymph ticks can be so small that you will not see them even when looking until they have already engorged themselves. They start as small as a poppy seed. That is why repellent and prevention is so important.
