There are several different substances that will molecularly bond with radioactive radionuclides to remove them from your stomach and intestines. Nearly all of them have a side effect of causing stomach discomfort and constipation. As a result it is highly recommended that you take some type of mild laxative. If you allow yourself to be bound up (constipatied) it will actually defeat the purpose of the Zeolites or Prussian Blue by holding the radionuclides inside your stomach or intestines longer exposing you to a higher dose and more damage.
