This show's primary topic was focused on honing our skills in rapidly gathering, processing, and utilizing information in an efficient, effective and reliable way.
Every day we are inundated with information. The information comes from many sources most of which you have little or no idea of the ideological, social, or other predjudices the purveyors are beginning with. Everyone has these prejudices, but in order to test the "facts" they present you need to be aware of the source.
One key point is that you should always be most cautious about "facts" that support your existing beliefs. Most people scrutinize the opposing ideas vigorously, but those that agree they often accept out of hand. This is extremely dangerous and can be the biggest threat.
